Yves Saint Laurent’s Fifth Manifesto Ready-to-Release
Yves Saint Laurent will be releasing it’s fifth manifesto on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Over half a million copies of eco-consciously printed Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Manifesto will be distributed in the streets of Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong and, for the first time, Seoul.

The total evolution of the upcoming Manifesto will be chronicled by the house in YSL’s new forays into social networking on Facebook, Twitter and on its own exclusive website.
The Manifesto micro-site will feature archives of previous Manifestos, a Manifesto blog monitor, images and video teasers of new edition, and global countdowns to the September 12 distribution. On September 8, the final cut of behind-the-scenes video will be unveiled and site will be unveiled allowing downloads of the complete Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Manifesto on the date of distribution.
Like past seasons of manifesto distribution, the first 2,000 passersby in each city will receive YSL Manifesto in a custom cotton tote bag designed by Creative Director Stefano Pilati.
