Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring/Summer 2010 promises to be a world class event exhibiting the very best of Indian talent. The five day fashion week displayed the very best Indian fashion designers under one roof, affording buyers and consumers, widest possible selection for men and women. The 14th edition of India’s biggest fashion trade event ushered a new era of unified fashion week represented by best of India’s fashion industry.
From day one at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, designers saw their signature styles and it was all about reinterpreting the old. Tarun Tahiliani offered a floral spectacle with his collection of anarkalis, chikan karis, printed denims and most importantly, his signature draping.


Ritu Kumar’s collection can be best described as a mood, a feeling, and an expression. Her creation was much inspired by the illusionary muse, marked in its simplicity and free spirit. Fierce reds, orange, yellow and creams were the main colors highlighted by Ritu Kumar for Spring/Summer 2010.


Designer Ritu Beri made a reputable comeback on 14th season of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, Spring-Summer 2010 collection. The pattern of clothing available were wide ranged from designs of cotton weaves, silk, wools, rayon or acrylic depending upon usability standards.


Checks, stripes, prints, zigzags were most suited to the Cosmo range. Beri’s collection spelled out narration, conceptual innovative embroidery, texturing and mixing fabric, combined with various stitching techniques that formed base of the style. The silhouettes were hand draped with a deep sense and need for utility. As a result, the collection came out fresh and innovative, thereby, making a strong style statement.
