The former French model, Inès de la Fressange, is the woman who has knocked Carla Bruni Sarkozy off her style-perch. Fressange, who’s at her 52nd year of life, has just taken the title of the ‘Most Chic woman in Paris’, and leaving the French First Lady lagging behind in fifth spot.

De la Fressange was picked for Number One spot for representing the “ultimate chic, urban classiness, and unflappable elegance” of Parisian woman. A former Chanel model and muse, a designer and socialite, Fressange is a well known figure in Paris fashion circuit. She is currently a brand ambassador for French shoe designer label, Roger Vivier.
De la Fressange’s, style is the epitome of anonymous, but represents impeccable Parisian chic. She wears mainly muted colors and classic cuts; clothes with no readily identifiable designer labels. Jeans, a tweed jacket and flat pumps are her preferred ‘uniform’. She does what the French do best, and always appears well dressed without any effort.
