Haute Couture opens door for Top Fashion Jewelry Designers
Till now the world’s leading haute couture week has been demure for dramatic fashion show presenting spectacular creations by designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy or Chanel. This January its going to be different.
For the first time in the history of Paris haute couture, exclusive clothes will meet finest jewelry to create a Spectacular week for this spring/summer 2010 season.


The Fédération de la Couture Francaise have announced that haute couture fashion week will include ‘haute joaillerie’ collections. ‘Haute couture’ a French phrase for ‘high fashion’ is known for its designs, specifically made to the client’s measurements which are exquisitely-lined and hand-finished.
The much awaited Paris haute couture week will set off on January 24 and wind up on January 28, the day dedicated specifically to the jewelers’ craft. Brands known for their Luxury jewelry such as Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel Joaillerie, Chaumet, Christian Dior Joaillerie, Mellerio dits Meller and Van Cleef & Arpels will all present their bejeweled pieces along with the leading Paris couture houses such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, and Jean Paul Gaultier, together with Giorgio Armani Privé, Valentino and Elie Saab.
Fédération came out with statement that this exceptional union will create a real luxury week. Amazingly beautiful clothes merged with fabulous jewelry will undoubtedly set the stage on fire.
