The long wait is over for fashion mavens on a budget. The celeb-coveted Jimmy Choo line of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories hits H&M stores this week on November 14, 2009. We’ve been waiting for months to see how this Jimmy Choo for H&M collaboration would turn out.

The idea of a high end designing team creating pieces for masses may sound appealing on the surface. But we’ve seen the concept to fall many times particularly with Target’s designer collections, which have featured A-list designers like Proenza Schouler, Thakoon and the latest by Anna Sui. But this collection probably looks much better to get that bold look for the Holiday season.

Jimmy Choo has kept a wide range for H&M including shoes, clutch bags, handbags, clothing for men and women both. The collaboration looks like it will bring everyone out to at least checkout the items.
It’s clear from the brilliantly styled launch party in New York and glamorous H&m ad campaigns, that Tamara Mellon and company have tried their best to make this version of the namesake label just as enticing as luxurious goods that sit in their flawless white boutiques.
