Junya Watanabe is the one who went on the wilder side as most of us may think. He thought of introducing trouser suits for women in a season of sheerness and lingerie for his Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. He devoted his collection totally to women who loves menswear such as tailored jacket, slim pants, and shirting explored in a scrupulous way that skillfully sidestepped the alarming image of a career pantsuit. He surely is on his way to capture the market.

His menswear inspired collection with models in towering, twisted head wraps caught attention of everyone. The show was all about midnight blue jacket and narrow trousers in tonic silk and moved through lots of variations that Watanabe brings to every collection.
He also added femininity and drape to the mix by transforming black and white checks into a riff on geometrics with a couple of gorgeous shirred, checkered synthetic tissue body pieces including a frill in the hem. The pristine white shirt dresses over black leggings drew everybody’s attention. It was wholly tooled as pragmatic day wear-innovative but at the same time, completely sensible.

Talking about shoes, black and white check pieces served as nice mix of safe and fun combined with Watanabe’s suits, skirts and tights. The Japanese designer added cherry on the cake with awesome pointy toed, black and white lace-ups. Having a look on this collection, it is confirmed that men’s inspired looks are also among the finest women’s fashion trends for the coming Spring season!!
