Miley Cyrus Remakes Bret Michaels’s ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’
‘Hannah Montana‘ star gave a contemporary twist to 80’s rock ballad: “Every Rose Has Its Thorn“. She might be young but her love for Poison runs deep and interestingly Bret Michaels and Poison was her very first concert.
Miley Cyrus said that she doesn’t wanted to make pop music anymore that’s why she collaborated with Bret Michaels for a cover of Poison’s classic hit. She gave her own spin to song with Michaels along with other producers in a studio in New York.

Reason behind choosing this song was that ‘Every Rose’ is a classic and one of her favorites. The 17-year-old wanted to expose a whole new generation of music lovers to a honest and real song as this one. Cyrus decided to cover this track after hearing it from a bunch of people around her.
The pop star said that she had great time in the studio with Michaels who gave her the chance to put her stamp and add flare to the song. Both Miley and Michaels are excited about it. Michaels actually felt honored that the star was interested in working with him on the song. He further added that the track won’t be a duet, he’ll do some harmonies and stuff like that, but it’s gotta be Miley’s version.
Cyrus has described it as a rad collaboration which is simply wonderful.
