After Alexis Mabille, let’s continue Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week’s second day with Christophe Josse Spring 2010 collection. Despite the structural crisis faced by fashion industry, tailoring presentations for spring/summer proved Monday that succession will well go with a romantic collection taken at Christophe Josse.

Held at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris, this collection was dreamy and full of imaginations because of its floral prints and drapes! Collection was all about darks, nude and light shades that fits every dress and make them look gorgeous. Even though there were blacks in this collection, but design doesn’t lose its positivity and elegance because of the color.

It was clear from the salvos of applause, that designer has achieved its goal. Several figures were welcomed, with a patchwork of lace and tulle, a stylish trench-coat, pearlescent sequins, embroidered on a dress “bandage” in ivory lace, to mention a few.

Substances “couture” and neutral tones were on all 19 figures, until the wedding dress whose top villain translucent chiffon has nothing to hide. This long sleeve corset was embroidered with black sequins handling chips, lace and organza.
Collection was flown with a flirty affair of drapes putting women in a world of liberty, just as Christophe said, “I wanted to dress as light as a feather, like put on women’s bodies and giving them freedom.” Brilliant job Josse!
