The People’s Choice Awards, 2010 held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, once again saw a huge success. Anxiety for this much awaited awards had increased manifold after its nominations were announced in November. Main feature of this show is that, it is all about honoring fan favorites in various genres, that makes it more enjoyable.

The Peoples Choice Awards were yet again hosted by Queen Latifah, fourth time in a row. She has an ultimate stage presence and set it on fire with her entry. Like every year, big stars in audience enhanced beauty of awards, with their presence. Stars shining in 2010 awards show included Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, Mariah Carey, Taylor Lautner, Hugh Jackman, Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Swift, Jackie Chan, Jenna Elfman, George Lopez, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

Mary J. Blidge out-shined as a star performer. There was not even a single boring moment. Energy was touching heights with very performance. The show held itself together really well and didn’t end up having any goof up. Big winners this year included ‘Twilight’, ‘House’, Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Highlight of show was funnyman Jim Carrey’s reaction on winning the award for ‘Liar Liar”, for Favorite Comedy Motion Picture. Naming of ‘Blind Side’ star Sandra Bullock as favorite movie actress, made it a big night for her. Continuing her recent award show, Taylor Swift bagged award for favorite female artist along with Keith Urban who won the favorite male artist award.

Getting inside Golden Globes to see Hollywood stars can be difficult, but a huge line up of stars can be seen in People’s Choice Awards every year. These awards are really different and grand and it has continued to be most popular award since 1975. The 36th Annual People’s Choice Awards was indeed a starry night.
