After being in news for collaboration with Jimmy Choo, H&M is now coming up with a new concept stealing the limelights again. This new concept is H&M’s newest environment-friendly line, The Garden Collection. All garments in this collection have been produced using sustainable materials. Type of materials H&M used for this collection include Organic Cotton, Organic Linen, Recycled Polyester (made from PET bottles and textile waste), and Tencel Silky (renewable material with little environmental impact).

Romantic, exotic, glamorous or abstract, this spring’s floral patterns will provide an injection of creativity and love of fashion into your wardrobe. The floral looks are inspired by chlorophyll-green gardens, sun-drenched landscapes and 70s hippie chic flower-power.

Spring 2010 has come up with some bright and flowery fashions, and this collection can update and rejuvenate your wardrobe and will offer a modern, sustainable look to any personal style. The collection includes a pinafore dress in organic cotton with romantic roses, a feminine chiffon dress made from recycled polyester with colorful garden print, and a smock dress in organic cotton with an ethnic floral pattern.

An organic cotton top featured in a small floral design or a frilly chiffon top made from recycled polyester can be combined with cropped trousers or shorts. Whereas a beige anorak shown in the collection can be worn over a floral jumpsuit, both of which come in tencel.
This collection is surely going to be every women’s choice for coming spring. What do you think about H&M’s new collection?
