Beyonce made History at Grammy Awards 2010!!
Beyonce made history by winning six Grammys at 52nd Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, January 31, 2010. With this, Beyonce Knowles has become first woman to win maximum number of Grammys in 52-year history of awards. Quite a big achievement!!
Beyonce hit red carpet in Stephanie Rolland dress and was looking awesome. 2010 has turned out to be a great year for her.
Former Destiny’s Child member, Beyonce Knowles had received 10 Grammy nominations and managed to get most of it. Beyonce Knowles won six Grammy awards in category of song of the year, best female R&B vocal, best R&B song for maddeningly repetitive ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)’, best traditional R&B vocal performance for song ‘At Last‘, best female pop performance for ‘Halo‘ and best R&B contemporary album for ‘I Am … Sasha Fierce‘.
It was predicted that blue ribbon gong for record of the year will also fall into her arms, but that went instead to Grunge rock act Kings of Leon for their smash hit ‘Use Somebody‘.
In totality, 52nd annual Grammy Awards, undoubtedly belonged to Beyonce!!
