Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear Collection
Burberry Prorsum showed its fall 2010 RTW collection at London Fashion Week and became the first major fashion house to show its streamlined collection in a 3-D preview to bespectacled fashionistas in Tokyo, New York, L.A., Dubai, and Paris. Christopher Bailey, designer of this collection, showed his full collection which was highly inspired from full military influences built around aviator jacket, trench and frock coats.

Christopher Bailey fall 2010 collection for Burberry Prorsum was versatile, strong, and masculine. It was full of trench coats, leather pants, aviator jackets, with softness coming in form of curvy silk, lace and washed velvet silhouettes. Color palette was dark, with lots of black, dark chocolaty brown and olive green offest by cream, cobalt, navy blue and burgundy. Main attraction of this show were boots and coats which flaunted the look of models on runway.

The collection finally turned its attention towards ground troops, with sharply tailored, cropped coats and frock coats and also peplum riding jackets were seen. There were some A-line coats with razor pleats at back and gold buttons galore. Palette was in form of peacoats and navy blue coats with gold zippers at the waist, had feminine look.

Burberry Prorsum fall 2010 collection was brilliant piece of fashion-business management, it will leave other competitors seething. Softer side of this collection came by glamorous coats and jackets made from a patchwork. Although theme was all Master and Commander.
