Caroline Charles Fall 2010: A collection embracing Women’s Fashion!
Caroline Charles Fall/Winter 2010/2011 collection was a rock on collection at London Fashion Week. Designer Caroline Charles came up with three different sections in one show, rather than a cohesive collection for fall 2010. This collection was inspired by her days spent in Venice and Istanbul.

Caroline Charles collection for Fall 2010 consists of hand-embroidered, beaded pieces. Shapes of dresses was modern with intricate details that wrap and layer. Fabrics used ranges from cashmere weaves and silk paisleys to Fairisle knits and soft suedes, with different color patterns which mainly include olive, chocolate, saffron, cream, liquorice and plum.

As this collection was parted into different sections, so the last section of this collection was a bit off from rest, as dresses which gave look of 1980s fashion were seen in great volume. They were accessorized by creative head wear on runway and with kimono belts which gave a oriental touch to outfits. There was also shorter beaded cocktail dresses for final run which were accessorized with cluster of golden branches.

Charles chose Earhart style caps and trapper hats for her models which were worn with ruffly knee length coats or delicate dresses which look fabulous. Overall, Caroline Charles collection served a well executed womens fashion.
