Osman collection for Fall 2010 at London Fashion Week, was a bang with combination of different fusion of cultures. Young designer’s collection was inspired by stylish and strong female figures with a sense of adventure. Yousefzada has a tendency to get inspired from that work which remain opaque to other. Osman Yousefzada showed a 12-piece jersey collection for Autumn/Winter 2010/11 collection which was, again, right on target.

Show opened with four draped navy dresses, which may be seen more in coming months. Looks of Osman 2010 Fall collection was flaunted by long shapeless dresses, layered nubby-mohair check pieces, and a look that involved a blazer over a cropped top, which was a style statement for 1990’s actresses.

Osman made timeless and flattering clothes for this collection like beautiful draped black dresses. He also brings out some oversize palazzo pants and unfortunate cocoon of fur coat. His collection showed versatile fabric’s and potential with different draping techniques, structural cuts, and mohair coat that made a killer appearance.

This collection combines to create something intellectual, modern and yet still wearable. Perhaps Osman’s fall 2010 collection has reminded the designer that sticking to what he does best, will be more fun for him and his followers.
The best piece of the collection had to be the structured fur coat, I’d never seen a fur coat in that shape before. The cocktail dress with the beading on the bust was elegant with a cheeky undertone. The accessories made you want the whole look, from the fusia oversized clutchbags with envelope style flap, to the jewel encrusted wedges and wide brimmed hats. Also the shirt that was half beige and half pinky coral was a fresh take on a classic look, teamed with blue relaxed trousers with turn-ups.
