United Bamboo Fall/Winter 2010 runway show, held on third day of New York Fashion Week, was something not to be missed. Designers Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham made this new collection very classic and tailored. United Bamboo fall 2010 collection was running forty five minutes late according to the schedule but not to mention the looks that collection represented are really going to be on wishlist of every fashion-loving women. The looks were very ladylike and revealed the inner passion of to disco diva.

Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham shifted from very preppy to more elegant and chic look this season. Designers primarily used neutral color palette of black, white, and gray. A few print dresses with tops crept into the mix. United Bamboo fall 2010 collection was full of well-constructed garments that are wearable in everyday life. Although many of knee-length skirts are not too fashion-forward, but woolen coats and knit sweaters are both wearable and unique in design. Architectural lines and asymmetrical shapes of outfit makes each piece more interesting.

Highlight of Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham collection was wild and curly hair worn by the models. This different and unorthodox approach of hair styling was appreciated all around. Makeup done by Shiseido focuses on looks of lips, creating a shade that’s new for Fall 2010, and used an opal violet primer at inner corner of the eyes for subtle shine.

Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham has continued to grow in recent years. Unfortunately, the trendy hair and make-up properly reflected the overall feel of collection.
