Dior’s Blue Mood Ad campaign for Spring 2010
French actress Marion Cotillard continues to be the face in Christian Dior’s high-drama ads for Spring 2010. This campaign was lensed by Steven Klein and David Lynch shot an accompanying video at Chinese city’s sci-fi skyscrapers serving as the fantastic background. This setting is not purely for aesthetic reasons but Shanghai is chosen location where John Galliano will unveil his Dior’s Cruise Collection on May 15.
David Lynch tuned for a 12-minute film, where Marion is reciting a poem and he too was inspired by Pearl Tower, words and building fuse in the picture he paints on-screen. Shanghai is such a vibrant and inspiring city and it is beautifully shown in Dior’s ad campaign.
In this campaign Marion Cotillard is looking gorgeous and head designer John Galliano did a great job out there. The campaign looks as dramatic and fascinating as Christian Dior Spring 2010 Couture Show. What do you feel about this ad campaign? Let out your vows!!
