Patek Philippe 5070 has been our favorite for many years, and now its time for new Patek Philippe Chronograph Ref 5170. This remarkable and prominent Patek Philippe Chronograph Ref 5170 watch has been recently arrived, to challenge other Swiss watchmaking scene. This men’s chronograph wrist watch was shown during the World Watch and Jewelry Show – BaselWorld 2010. The watch is designed in a distinctive and new classical style.

Undeniable highlight of this watch is its reliable CH 29-535 PS calibre movement, and hand-wound chronograph equipped with column-wheel and horizontal toothed-wheel coupling. Its four-arm Gyromax balance wheel breathes with a frequency of 4 hertz and indicating functions of hours, minutes, seconds and chronograp. Its stop-seconds mechanism of watch exactly synchronizes with a time signal. Patek Philippe 5170 has gold applique hour-markers and set of dial is 30-minute and small seconds counters are positioned at 3 and 9 correspondingly.

New 5170 Patek Philippe watch is announced only in yellow gold so far and boasts 39 mm in diameter. This Swiss watch immediately brings to mind, brand’s impressive Patek Philippe 1463-J chronograph of 1940. Watch case is silvered opaline dial, which is not much different from 5070. Other fascinating features are its sapphire crystal back and Water-resistant to 30 m. It is the Patek Philippe first simple manual wind chronograph calibre and for first time they did more what was expected!!
