Lakme Fashion Week 2010 opened with an exciting and opulent Bridal collection by Rocky S teamed with great jewelry designed by Queenie for Giantti. It was first day, first show of Lakme Fashion Week 2010, glitzy and glamorous.

Rocky S Summer/Resort 2010 collection was an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional-classic creativity. There were lot of beautiful and elegant, rich and luxurious bridal lehengas, bridal sarees, chudidar kurtas and georgette sherwani. It was luxurious Bridal collection, apt for Indian wedding.

Color palette was based on pastel colors. Bridal lehengas in traditional jeweled shades with surface embroideries and Swarovski embellishments added a rich look to collection.

Highlights of show were old rose nude full embroidered bridal lehenga with Swarovski embellishments, pink nude shaded chiffon sari with choli, pink nude full length chiffon kurta set, pencil slim long lehengas and a layered lehenga set in turquoise, the color of 2010.

Highlights of show were not only designer bridal sarees and lehengas but also large diamonds and colored stones jewelry in unique styles. Queenie’s new line for Giantti presented a sparkling range of jewelry designs. Jewelry by Queenie for Giantti served as a cherry on cake for this Bridal Extravaganza.

For an extravagant finale, Bipasha Basu stepped on runway in a lemon sari with embroidered blouse, wearing a grand diamond necklace. Presence of Bipasha Basu in Rocky S show made it more glamorous. Pics of Bipasha in Sari at Lakme Fashion Week 2010 is truly awesome.
