Melissa is a Brazilian PVC shoe company known for fun and eco-friendly footwear and a famous magazine Plastic Dreams. A few days back, this Brazilian shoe brand was in news for its collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier for a range of eco-friendly footwear that include a recyclable 10cm plastic stiletto. And now, the brand is again in limelight for casting lovely burlesque diva Dita Von Teese as the cover girl of company’s Plastic Dreams magazine.
Photographs shot by Sandrine Dulermo and Michael Labicaare are heavily inspired from circus fashion. Really, I have never seen plastic shoes photographed so beautifully and gracefully.

Melissa has a interesting designer collaborations including Alexander Herchcovitch, furniture designers like Campana Brothers, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood & Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid and recently teamed-up eccentric designer Jean Paul Gaultier who has produced this line of shoes shown in magazine.

Dita Von Teese to whom Melissa chose to cover its latest issue of magazine, is an American burlesque artist, model, and actress. She wears John Paul Gaultier designed strappy heels that we’re looking forward to release soon. JPG has closely worked with Melissa for the development of shoe styles of this collection.

Gaultier has created these wonderful 10cm plastic stiletto heels with amazing transparent aspect, which will really gave a elegant look when worn with finest fishnet tights. Well, these stilettos are adding a new charm to the beauty of Dita Von Teese and are just looking awesome!
