Just like supermodels Kate, Naomi, Gisele, and Paris Fashion Week’s top model Jac, many furry pooches are stealing the limelights from fashion industry. Whether its runway show, red carpet or a campaign for latest collection of NARS Cosmetics, dogs are leaving their foot-prints everywhere in fashion industry. They are becoming favorite of many celebrities and they like to dress-up their furry friend in a way and style that suits their personality. That’s why, pets fashion industry is gaining the heights!

People are becoming more conscious not only about their looks, but also for their Pet’s Look too! More and more people are searching for latest trends in pets fashion. From bomber jackets to biker jackets, cute short skirts to wedding dresses, hats, fashion accessories, and jewelry, everything is available for your cute little friend. So, why not get something chic and stylish for them and heighten up their looks!!

Recently, some of the hottest pets fashion trends, especially for dogs, were revealed during “Last Bark for Bryant Park“, FIT’s second annual pet apparel fashion show, which was named in homage to final New York Fashion Week located in Bryant Park. There were more cheers from audience than howls from runway when dogs took to the catwalk in fashion designs created by students from Fashion Institute of Technology’s (FIT) Pet Product Design and Marketing professional development certificate program.

Joan Volpe, managing coordinator of Institute’s Center for Professional Studies said, “Pets apparel and pet products represent a close to $US50 billion industry, and its proving to be comparatively recession-proof. This niche market requires talent, know-how, and skills commonly found in traditional fashion business segments. Our program provides training for designers wishing to enter this market.”

These cutie-pooches striking for a pose during the catwalk looked so well-mannered. The bride walked aisle in white, while the groom cut a dashing figure in top hat and tux – both of them wagging their tails eagerly. Fresh designs in pets apparel and accessories were revealed in a way that can’t be forgotten. I love the jackets and flirty skirts that looked super cute on these super cute pooches.
