Balenciaga Resort 2011 Collection: Colorful Prints Magic!!
Balenciaga Resort 2011 show by designer Nicolas Ghesquiere was held in Paris. Collection was all about bright colors and fun prints, which makes it a veritable solar flare through the resort season. In this collection Ghesquière experimented with different themes, something Nicolas is calling techno boheme.
Balenciaga Resort collection presented trousers, long and full skirt, shorts that were precise and wearable. Prints were very pleasing. A fitted and very short blue skirtsuit was something distinctly 1960’s Pan Am hostess like. Nude maxi dress and printed trouser and jacket sets were amazing.
For Balenciaga 2011 Cruise Collection, Ghesquière presented his country-hippie blouses, tiny bolero vests metallic threads embroidery and rendering them in iridescent fabrics.
Highlights were a sari like nude maxi outfit and bright orangey yellow pants with the black waistcoat. It is a perfect for Resort 2011 Collection owing to bright colors and fun prints. There were in all 29 looks.
Not only the clothes, but shoes of this collection are also incredible. In all, it was a colorful resort 2011 collection that featured lots of stylish prints.
