Italo Zucchelli, Creative Director for Calvin Klein Mens Collection, created inherent athleticism, sexy yet utilitarian silhouettes that are graphically cut and uniform with innovative fabrics. Spring 2011 Calvin Klein Mens Collection showcased 41 looks, where focus was on volume, proportion and scale. Wearing Calvin Klein Crop Tops, models were looking quite ritzy. Italo Zucchelli’s vision of modern American sportswear was appreciated as designs were executed on clean, highly textured surfaces to emphasize movement, casually. First look appeared comprised a boxy shirt in black complete with glasses hanging from the neck before moving onto sleek sportswear looks in black and slate grey shades.



Calvin Klein collection ruled runway with dropped shoulder detail on oversized chino shirts, t shirts, and bombers. These were balanced with a tapered leg pant or short trunks. Bomber jackets were also executed in modern coated cotton twills with detachable lower half. Color palette included turquoise, taupe and honey which was interspersed with graphic grey prints. Overall 2011 Men’s collection by Calvin Klein was quite stylish.
