Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel Couture Fall 2010 Collection presented during Paris Haute Couture Week 2010 was inspired from Russia. Chanel roared with bravado, power and great clothes.

Models walked around a lion holding a giant pearl – in shades of maroon, brown, white and pink. Compared to glistening sci-fi whites of his Spring couture, these looks had some moody tinge.

Range was exquisite, chic and sophisticated. Colors hues used in collection like maroon, loden, brown, navy, camel were very wearable. Also check out, Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall 2010 Collection and Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall 2010 Collection

Crystal trims on camel, velvet trims on shadow plaids, fur trims on tweed fabric was given. Fabrics used in Chanel Autumn/Winter 2010/11 Couture Collection were velvet, tweed, tapestry, fur and lot more.

Embroidery and beading were used on dresses so make them glooming. Cropped sleeves, straight silhouettes, variety of plaids, lotus shape short dress were fantastic.

Not only the clothes, but Chanel Couture Fall 2010 shoes such as mid-calf boots were really perfect and matching with the dresses. All models with dramatic jewelry were looking great.

Chanel Fall 2010 Collection closed with Baptiste Giabiconi donning a lion’s head mask and a black trouser and blazer combination worn with a high-necked white shirt.
