South Africa bade farewell to 2010 World Cup with a spectacular closing ceremony. Shakira rocked FIFA World Cup 2010 Closing Ceremony with her rocking performance, just like she dazzled FIFA World Cup 2010 Opening Ceremony. She took the stage in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday (July 11) at closing ceremony of 2010 FIFA football World Cup giving a rocking performance.

As mentioned in earlier post, Shakira World Cup Closing Ceremony Costume was designed by Roberto Cavalli. Enthusiasm of crowd became manifold when Colombian beauty, Shakira performed “Waka Waka”, the World Cup theme song. Shakira was surrounded by lot of energetic dancers who were clad in colors of the 32 competing nation.

It was hard to miss and memorable ceremony that became more magnificent with appearance of Nelson Mandela. He smiled and waved to the more than 80,000 fans. Shakira’s Performance at FIFA World Cup 2010 Closing Ceremony was followed by final showdown between finalists Spain and Netherlands and at last much anticipated and awaited moment came. Spain won FIFA World Cup 2010 with a 1-0 victory over Netherlands. Congratulations to Spain, 2010 FIFA World Cup Champion!!
