Roman jeweler and Luxury retailer, Bulgari teamed up with actress, model and style icon Isabella Rossellini for a line of handbags. Isabella Rossellini unveiled head-turning handbag designed by herself during Paris Fashion Week. Designs of handbags are said to represent different sides of Rossellini’s personality.

On launching handbag with her own name attached to a fancy purse, Isabella Rossellini said:

“This is an honor. That’s what I told Bulgari, too.”

Talking about design, Rossellini said:

“I wanted to combine simplicity, practicality, from my Swedish side, with the warmth and the elegance of Italy – and humor, that’s my personal touch,” referring to the snail print on the inner lining. “We chose the snail, just because my bag is a little bit like my home said Rossellini .”

Available in four colors, “Rossellini” bag features art deco-inspired enamel clasp with a twist lock and semi-precious stones such as amethyst or tiger eye. Talking about bags, one is in black patent leather with plain flaps while brown mud chevron canvas and chocolate leather bag evokes nonchalance and simplicity.

Paying a tribute to Rossellini’s elegance is Bvlgari bag in walnut pony calf leather with flaps in chocolate leather adorned with twist lock, which sparkles at center in black and brick red enamel with purple lining. Last, but not the least is Isabella Rossellini handbag with black and white graphic effect in multicolored ponyskin with a chocolate leather flaps and black and white enamel decorating the closure.

Hitting Bulgari stores later this month, these stylish rectangular tote will be available in prices ranging between $1700 and $2600.
