Designers Karen Craig and Georgina Chapman flaunted dreamy gowns and dresses that turn out to be feast for fashionistas’ eyes. Marchesa Spring 2011 presentation took spectators on an Oriental journey filled with hand painted silk drapes and ornate hand embroidered jeweled accents.

Marchesa Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week Collection was presented inside the Chelsea Art Museum where celebs including Kelly Osbourne, Natasha Bedingfield, Molly Sims, Petra Nemcova, and Olivia Palermo and Gabourey Sidibe marked their presence.

Show opened with an enormous ebony and pearl gown of endless tulle. Then was turn of floral minis and baggy lace jumpsuits. Spring 2011 Marchesa Collection was all about painted silks, the delicate tulle, silk, tulle, organza and laser cut silk crepe; smoked sky, opaque oyster, ivory, mint and rose blush palette, and wearable art. Talking about some of Marchesa Spring 2011 gowns, blush pink strapless gown with the peplum and black embroidery; black and pearl ombre strapless tulle gown, night blue silk tulle dress hand-painted with a floral print, mint-colored, hand-pleated mini with jadelike embellishment, a pearl-colored, all-embroidered dress with a lacelike effect were dreamy and awesome.
