Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show:
Roberto Cavalli Spring 2011 Milan Fashion Week Collection celebrated its 40th anniversary with a Garden of Eden styled show with backdrop of a jungle of huge flowers, fronds, and plants. Collection had a 70’s bohemian feel to it with lots of crochet, fringing, beads, sequins, crystal and animal print on muted hues of gray, lilac and nude flaunting on runway.

Show opened with supermodel Natalia Vodianova and Laetitia Casta taking to the runway rocking a hippie look with smokey eye make-up and flat ironed hair. Roberto Cavalli Spring 2011 collection was drenched with fringe details on maxi-dresses, jumpsuits, maxi skirts, leather jackets and his bags.

Accessories like teeth pendants and crocodile hide handbags were attention grabbing. Some top looks included a sheer chiffon bias-cut gown, a tiny jacket in croc or snake, and wild accessories. In related news check out, Roberto Cavalli Spring 2011 front row celebs at Milan.

Giorgio Armani Spring 2011 Collection closed Milan Fashion Week on a great note. Giorgio Armani Spring 2011 Milan Fashion Week Collection flaunted deep and dark hues of blue and black. Entitled ‘La Femme Bleue’, show was based on night sky over the Sahara desert which is warm, velvety blue and scattered with stars

Every piece from collection was drenched in navy shading towards midnight. Tuareg head wraps, perspex wedges, large jewelled neck pieces, tribal jewelry, city-smart jackets, glittering long skirt and tank, narrow, pleated pants; everything was dreamy and chic. It was based on singular color palette of dark blue and black and flaunted lots of elegant and sophisticated women’s jackets.

Looks like leather blazers teamed with tunic tops, with large bows at the back or front, and draping of pieces was beautifully done. Check out, George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis at Armani Milan Show.
