Colorful, Chic, Stylish, Eye-popping, Vibrant, Adorable; all these words perfectly describes Peter Som Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week Collection. It was all about colorful floral prints and was based on what he refers as Peggy Guggenheim meets Miami.

Unlike other collections flaunted on runway like BCBG Max Azria Spring 2011 Collection and Jason Wu Spring 2011 offering, Peter Som Spring 2011 Collection at New York Fashion Week was fill of lots of cool, peppy and trendy colors.

60’s vibe was evoking out of Peter Som Spring 2011 runway show owing to smooth, flimsy fabrics embellished with lace and tweed, poppy red pants, turquoise dress, skirt embellished with twists of fabric. Dresses and tee for girls in cut from a fresh-looking over-dyed snakeskin, gray cardie and khaki jackets, shirts with bright contrasting collars, thigh-grazing shorts were awesome.

New York Fashion Week Spring 2011 runway got dazzled as models stepped on it wearing Peter Som Spring 2011 colorful floral prints, color blocks, shorts and white & black dresses. Floral prints were everywhere on runway, be it dresses, blazers, skirts, bandeau tops or blouses. Looks like floral prints fashion will switch from Summer 2010 to Spring 2011 as well.

Models were showing off some legs in cool shorts and adding to length were sky-high Charlotte Olympia wedges. Gap-toothed model Ashley Smith closed the show and it was her first major runway appearance as well. Stay connected with FashionFame.com for more updates on New York Fashion Week Spring 2011.
