Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show was amongst final show of New York Fashion Week Spring 2011, just like Calvin Klein Spring 2011 Fashion Show. Ralph Lauren, the king of American sportswear flaunted his romance with the American West with his latest collection using ultra-luxe deerskin, lace. fringe details and sheer fabrics.

Making Ralph Lauren Spring 2011 Collection different from other collections is its theme. It was inspired by American southwest that turn out to presenting Cowgirl Fashion. Kicking off the show was a adorable tulle embroidered high neck blouse teamed with an off-white leather fringed jacket and crochet striped off-white linen shorts.

Some attention grabbing looks of Ralph Lauren Spring 2011 women’s collection included man’s colorful plaid button-down paired with little evening skirt embellished with silver beads; beaded, fringed long skirt teamed with an embroidered blouse with hand crochet details, crochet cardigans, suede fringed pants, ruffled coats, crisp white blouses, maxi skirt and much more.

Talking about accessories, some wild accessories like iconic blanket bags, bull’s-head belt buckles, silver longhorn hood ornaments on handbags, American Indian-inspired chokers studded with diamonds were prominent on runway. Fringes were prominent everywhere, on vests, scarves, skirts, bags, shorts, coats, belts, pants and even on leather and metal chokers.

Some of the top looks included Ralph Lauren Spring 2011 evening wear like blush-pink georgette gown with gentle ruffles and unfinished edges around the V-neck, long, lean white satin jumpsuit, pretty white fit-and-flare tank dress and gold-sequined evening gowns that finished the show.
