Hollywood’s most talked about love birds, Katy Perry and Russell Brand finally got married at Aman-i-Khas resort in India. The comedian and pop princess, adored by over millions of fans around the world, became husband and wife at a grand royal wedding ceremony. They began dating in September last year, and after four months they got engaged on vacation in India.

This newly married couple again chose the same country for their wedding. Katy and Russell tied the knot at a luxury resort outside Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Indian state of Rajasthan. Couple wed in a traditional Hindu ceremony on Saturday (October 23) in front of about 80 friends and family.

Whole wedding had been kept a big secret but according to UsMagazine.com bride wore a dove gray Elie Saab Haute Couture gown featuring lace sleeves. Pop star and other female guests also wore luxurious saris at different wedding ceremony. Scroll through FashionFame.com for more.

Reportedly, Russell and Katy wore traditional Indian clothes. They both also got exquisite henna tattoos on their hands. Few days ago, Katy was also spotted wearing a traditional Indian bridal nose ring when she departed from Heathrow Airport with her finance.

Beautiful Katy Perry also wore designs by designers Zuhair Murad and Donna Mizani on her wedding. It is stated that ceremony was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of Hudson Family.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand Wedding Ceremony was held with all possible grandeur including elephants, horses, more than 20 camels, Indian dancers and musicians. Pleasant sound of instruments, such as sitar, santoor, tabla, and kettle drums, along with traditional Rajasthani folk music and even a sacred Vedic chanting, were heard inside the resort. Like a typical Indian groom, Russell Brand also entered in grand style on a horse.

Resort was decorated with alluring lamps and colorful lights for their six-day wedding extravaganza. After wedding, Russell Brand gave “Tiger” as wedding gift to her bride. While there are no photos released to media yet, but from wedding details, one can assume that it is one of the luxurious weddings of year.
