Getting immortalized into wax for Madame Tussauds Museum is like one of the biggest honor for celebrities. Latest celebrity who met her wax replica is 20-year-old country music singer Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift wax statue was unveiled by the diva herself at Madame Tussauds New York in Times Square on Wednesday, October 27.
During Taylor Swift Madame Tussauds wax statue unveiling event, both Taylor Swift and her replica were clad in British designer Jenny Packham-designed black and silver dresses, which Taylor had donated for the occasion, teamed with black heels. “Love Story” songwriter spent a lot of time with the studio artists for several months on to create a perfect statue of hers. Her look alike is holding a guitar that was decorated with more than 2,000 Swarovski crystals. Grammy-winning singer Taylor’s wax figure will join the wax replicas of Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Johnny Depp, Charlie Chaplin, Simon Cowell and many more.
Taylor Swift gave it two thumbs up and said, “I think that the face looks a lot like me and this is so crazy. This is wonderful. I’m really thankful.”
