Keira Knightley Splits from Boyfriend Rupert Friend
Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend have called it quits and separated their ways. After being together for over 5 years, 25-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actress Keira Knightley and 29-year-old actor Rupert have split. Shocking!!
According to People, the couple split a few months ago, shortly after Knightley bought a house in the South of France, outside Nice.
Keira’s father, Will Knightley confirmed the news to British tabloid the Sun saying:
“Yes, they have broken up. But that’s the way things go, unfortunately. The only option is to get on with things.”
He shared with newspaper “They were together for quite a long time, and it is always hard breaking up. She’s focused on her work.”
Rupert, who is known for her role as Prince Albert in The Young Victoria, met Keira on set of 2005’s movie adaptation of Pride & Prejudice and love bloomed. But her rising A-list status did not go down well with Friend.
