Rooney Mara covers the February 2011 issue of W magazine, revealing first look as Lisbeth Salander for upcoming blockbuster ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo‘.

Very beautiful American film and television actress, Rooney Mara who usually dazzles in sweet and charming look, shows off her crazy and wild side in front of cameras.

25-year-old actress did a bold photo-shoot for the role of Lisbeth Salander. The “Social Network” star Rooney Mara’s first look as Lisbeth Salander is super hot. For the cover of W Magazine February 2011, actress is revealing a sexy “Salander” tattoo on her chest. She shows off her piercings and is wearing lots of eyeliner.

Crazy Rooney Mara is opening her Burberry Prorsum leather jacket with blood covered hands for showing her new tattoo. She also dyed her hair jet black and chopped. In other shots, she is posing on a bike in white top. Rooney is looking wild with dark eye makeup, leather trousers and a cigarette in mouth. A tattoo artists is also shown who is drawing tattoos on her hips.

On audition process: “They shot me in the subway in L.A. In full hair and makeup with a motorcycle. Everyday they had a new request. On a Monday morning, [director David Fincher] called me in, and I said, ‘what do you want me to do with my hair now?’ I was at the end of my rope. He told me I had the part. I hadn’t even read the script yet.”

David Fincher shared, “I wanted her from the beginning. Rooney maybe a trust-fund baby from football royalty but she’s level headed and hard working. It’s so odd how who people are comes out in auditions. We didn’t make it easy for Rooney and there was no way to dissuade her.”
