Jason Wu Fall 2011 Collection presented during New York Fashion Week was all about “Baroque meets Sportswear”, that is is how Jason Wu sums up his latest collection.
Jason Wu Autumn/Winter 2011-12 presentation was inspired by a Robert Polidori book on the 25-year restoration of Versailles. There were head turning evening wears adorned with Lace, Feathers as well as Crystals.

Just like every season, Jason Wu put a big emphasis on tailoring. Show opened with a model donning a charcoal gray coat with with a strip of black lace down each sleeve flung over the shoulders of a cropped jacket teamed with printed blouse, and cigarette pant.

Lace was the integral part of the show and was everywhere. There were stylish dresses with lace sleeves, skirts with lace panel overlays, gold lace gown, Victorian lace pieces and sculpted lace masks worn by some models with their evening gowns.

Jason Wu Fall 2011 dresses also showed off lots of feathers. There were dreamy signature feather pouf cocktail dresses in both black and nude, ostrich feather minidresses and knee-length skirts. An all-over, real feathered dress in blush and champagne-colored sheer blouse adorned with feathers made of beading was also iconic.

Along with Jason Wu Fall 2011 feather dresses and laces dresses, crystal adorned dresses like charcoal wool anorak with opaline crystal embroidery on the shoulders also grabbed attention and looked every inch red carpet worthy. There were jackets, coat-dress and dreamy gowns adorned with dense clusters of colorful stones.
Looks like fall 2011 lace dresses fashion trend and fall 2011 feather fashion trend will be seen on fashion streets in coming season.

Jason Wu Fall 2011 show also showed off a bit tomboyish style by sending models on runway in coats, jackets, shirt dresses, double collar shrunken tuxedo jacket, a lace-trim hoodie parka, tuxedo blazers and slim pants.

Adding to beauty of show and making it all the more rich were hair styled with 24kt gold leaf. On the whole, Jason Wu Fall 2011/12 show presented a lot of 2011 fall fashion trends for the fashionistas.
