Nicole Kidman Honored with Cinema Vanguard Award at Santa Barbara
Nicole Kidman got honored with the prestigious award during 2011 Santa Barbara International Film Festival held at the Arlington Theater on February 5 in Santa Barbara.
She received the Cinema Vanguard Award that honors the one “who takes artistic risks and has made a significant contribution to film.”
Taking to the stage to accept Hollywood honor, Nicole said, “I suppose that’s in my blood. I don’t even see it as taking a risk, I just see it as staying true to my heart and instinct.”
The 43-year-old ‘Just Go With It’ star was looking white hot at the event in a Nina Ricci dress from Spring 2011 Collection teamed with Pierre Hardy strappy sandals. Completing her look were Fred Leighton’s three drop diamond earrings, a Prada clutch and a chic watch.
Marie Claire UK March 2011 cover girl was looking effortlessly gorgeous long sleeve shirt dress that was belted at the waist. Talking about Nicole Kidman’s hairstyle, she neatly tied back her reddish brown locks in a low chignon.
