Nicki Minaj graces cover page of Elle magazine’s music issue. 26-year-old rapper Nicki Minaj headlines the “Women in Music” issue of Elle Magazine May 2011 along with Robyn and Gwen Stefani Elle May 2011 Cover.

But unlike her previous magazine covers, pop star Nicki is looking pretty normal and gorgeous on the cover as well as in photoshoot as she is not sporting very loud makeup and outlandish stage outfits. She transformed into a beauty for Elle photoshoot.

Shot by famous fashion photographer Terry Tsiolis, Nicki is looking gorgeous donning knit white minidress teamed with suede wedge boots from Giuseppe Zanotti. Nicki looks stunning in inside photoshoot donning floral top and shorts from Jean Paul Gaultier showing off her toned midriff.

Spicing up her look is that black wig, that looks stylish with Chiffon dress by Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci.

Nicki on her career aspirations growing up: “I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character—a superhero.”

Nicki on her sense of style: “I tend to like booties…[pause]“—she takes a beat to clarify: no sexual meaning implied—”and really flashy shoes: totally studded out, in five colors with an insane platform.”

Nicki on her song “My Chick Bad” with Ludacris: “[I] chose to do punch lines and be comical, to show how bad I am lyrically, as opposed to how sexy I think I am.”
