New Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were surely apple of the eye at the Royal Wedding but Kate Middleton’s sister and maid of honor Pippa Middleton also received accolades for her stunning white gown.

Catherine Middleton’s sister Philippa Middleton, the chief bridesmaid arrived for the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton at the Westminster Abbey on Friday in a stunning white gown.

Just like Kate Middleton’s wedding gown, 27-year-old Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress was also designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

Pippa Middleton’s maid of honor dress by Sarah Burton showed off her stunning figure and managed to grab almost as much attention as Bride.

Here ivory satin-based crepe dress had a cowl front and featured same silk-covered buttons down the back and lace trims as the Bride’s dress.

Unlike US, in UK bridesmaids are supposed to dress similar to the bride to ward off evil spirits. Phillipa arrived at the wedding with fellow bridesmaids Grace Van Cutsem and Eliza Lopes, holding their hands.

Young bridesmaids looked adorable in creations by designer Nicki Macfarlane with classic Mary Jane style shoes. Pippa met Kate outside and carried the train of her dress as they entered the abbey.
