Ginnifer Goodwin wowed in green at the Met Costume Institute Gala 2011 themed “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” honoring the British couturier Alexander McQueen.

32-year-old actress showed off her bolder and brighter side by slipping into a kelly green custom Topshop dress featuring low-neckline, long sleeves and twisted front that was just shwingtastic. Ginnifer Goodwin’s MET Ball 2011 gown also featured cutout-at-the-waist and a sexy split.

Making her look all the more red carpet worthy was stunning jewelry that included Van Cleef & Arpels “Art Deco Zip beaded and tassled necklace with turquoise detailing, 1964 “Estate” turquoise and pearl ring set in yellow gold.

The pixie-haired star amped up her ensemble with flawless makeup including avante-garde green turquoise shadow, and extra-long lashes, that took her look to the next level. Something Borrowed star finished off her look with navy and aqua Aperlai heels, and a navy Kotur clutch.

On the whole, Ginnifer showed off a very color coordinated look at 2011 Met Costume Institute Gala 2011 that was stunning. What do you think about Ginnifer’s gown? HIT or MISS?
