Maria Menounos gets leggy on Self Magazine June 2011 cover. 32-year-old Access Hollywood anchor and NBC Nightly News reporter is looking spring ready on cover in a bright Michael Kors dress accessorized with chic bracelets, Coralia Leets earrings and slim belt.

On her secret to happy living: “Do you what you love. Do not go into a profession because of the money, because you will be miserable. Do what you love no matter what it is, no matter what you get paid, because you will always be fulfilled. And don’t think that working less is the answer. Work more. You will be happier. People don’t realize that they’re generally unhappy because they’re not working enough and they have too much idle time to be miserable, to gossip, to be cranky. The busier we are, the happier we are, I promise you.”

On feeling good about her body: “Even in college, when I was 40 pounds heavier, I was super confident. It’s about knowing who you are. And being fit only adds to that. You feel as if you can take over the world. Still, at a big red-carpet event recently, I was nervous. I felt that my whole look wasn’t coming together. Then I thought, You know what, it is what it is – just own it.”
