Chanel Fall/ Winter 2011/12 Haute Couture Fashion Show presented during Paris Fashion Week narrated a fashionable story about Mademoiselle Coco Chanel.

Designer Karl Lagerfeld sent models in Grand Palais that looked like a dark and glistening street scene with neon-limned mock-up of the Place Vendôme. A towering Chanel statue taking center stage paid homage to the history of the label.

Models catwalked on runway in Luxury fashion house Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2011 dresses that spoke volume about fashion house’s legacy. Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2011 Fashion Show called ‘Les Allures de Chanel’ opened with model stepping on runway in Chanel tweed suits.

There were traditional Chanel suits as well as chic designs in graphite black, white, gray, navy and magenta with glimpse of fuchsia pink.

It was a stylish collection that included designer pieces that every women would like to own including suits, skirts and dresses that truly look tailor-made and perfect for a classy night out.

Highlights of collection included peplum-over-narrow-skirt silhouette, lacey masked models, LED-capped shoes, jewel-encrusted shirt-dresses with feathered fringing, boater hats and a starry nighttime setting.
Ombre-dipped skirts, long-sleeved form-fitting gowns adorned with crystals and sequins were interesting.

Bringing star power to show were front row celebs including Elle Fanning, Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson and Milla Jovovich.

Rounding up the show was a model stepping on runway dressed as bride wearing dreamy gown with high neckline, long train and blindfold-like ostrich feather-covered boater hat.
