Jason Wu presented a stylish Spring 2012 Collection during New York Fashion Week, taking inspiration from the graffiti artist, KAWS.

The collection showcased a lot of neon and flower power in dresses adorned with flower-petal print and peppy colors infused with muted hues such as grey and black.

Color palette flowed from ring palette of bubblegum pinks, electric blues and lime greens to grey and black.

Femininity and sporty playful attitude was visible in collection that included upper-thigh-baring sport shorts, cigarette pants to nylon trench coats, shorter-in-the-front, longer-in-the-back ball skirts.

First Lady Michelle Obama and red-carpet starlets favorite designer Jason Wu is known for his pretty and proper designs and Spring collection was no exception.

There were dresses that would easily go from day to night; neon gowns in electric blues, pop yellows, and shocking candy pinks, ladylike blouses with intricately beaded collar.

Detailing like speckled prints that give way to bold hues, embellishment like Nerds candy-shaped beads sewn onto shirt collars, spiked hair pieces, dramatic makeup, leather accents altogether made it a timeless collection.
