Richard Chai Love Spring 2012 Collection presented during New York Fashion Week was all about prints, patterns, Spring ready designs and distinctly preppy tone.

Designer Richard Chai opted to showcase his men’s and women’s lines together by sending models to the runway wearing structured yet deconstructed designs showing that opposites attract.

There was nice amalgamation of prints and patterns like floral prints, stripes and geometric shapes in a slew of colors like pinks, blues, green, lavender, purple in both women’s and men’s collection.

Talking about Richard Chai Love women’s collection, Richard Chai girl’s inner tomboy was prominent in crisp collared shirts with peekaboo shoulders, printed camp shirts, cotton blazers in bright orange, floral biker shorts and skinny cotton trousers.

Softly draped dress with cutout shoulders, jackets with a chiffon back looked quite feminine. floral-printed button-down brought a sexy twist.

Richard Chai Love men’s collection presented layer-able mesh T-shirts, knee length baggy shorts, cuffed cotton trousers with boxy blazers and much more.

Be it men’s designs or women’s dresses; prints, stripes and geometric shapes were prominent everywhere at Richard Chai Love Spring 2012 Fashion show.
