On being newly single: “It’s good to be on your own in an exciting city. This is when you do stuff for yourself. Right now is a real turning point. Everything I thought I knew is no longer. I think this is the year I have to grow up.”
On her new show 24 Hour Catwalk: “I only wanted to do this if it was going to be a genuine search for designers and if I would be working alongside people who are legitimate in the fashion industry.”
On the Royal Wedding: “I massively bought into the fairy-tale wedding. But the fact that the press were giving Kate all this fanfare before she looked amazing is a bit weird, because it’s obvious she got a stylist. Regardless, no one cares about the mechanics behind why someone looks good.”
On her personal style: “I love schoolgirl style; it’s relaxed but smart, boyish but girly-all my favorite juxtapositions in one.”
On her style icons: “Jane Birkin, Penelope Tree, Jean Shrimpton-those are all the people whose style I admire.”
