On her averseness to social media: “I don’t have a Facebook or a Twitter account… I can’t think of anything I’d rather do less than have to continuously share details of my everyday life.”
On attending the White House Correspondents Dinner: “My brother was totally geeked out by Katie Couric. I think he followed her around the entire night. I was chasing after him, and I turned around and I had a bunch of Republican Senators chasing after me.”
On being in the spotlight: “It’s a gamble every time you put yourself out there, and certainly, I’m always readjusting to it. But I hope it never becomes normal to feel scrutinized.”
