Australian actress, Bella Heathcote is on cover page of Vogue Australia magazine’s September 2012 issue. Photographer Will Davidson captures ‘Dark Shadows’ star wearing a red long sleeved chiffon gown from Christian Dior.

Check out some excerpts from her interview with mag:
On moving to LA: “I was lucky. I had the Heath Ledger scholarship so I had a bit of support. But there is the work here and I wanted to make a career out of this. I was working at a law firm, doing a few episodes of Neighbours here and there, and I’d done two features in Australia in the course of two or three years. I thought if I want to make this my career and I don’t want to keep working part-time jobs for the rest of my life, I’ll have to take this leap.”
On her upcoming film Not Fade Away: “Something about it reminds me of The Sopranos, in the sense that [director] David Chase does that thing where he can cut from something that is so awful to something so hilarious. It’s quite shocking but in a great way. There are moments where you are watching it and you’re not sure if you should be laughing – I kind of love that.”
On working with Baz Luhrmann: “Baz brings that low-budget enthusiasm to a big-budget set. Yeah, it takes time to set up the lights, the environment and the atmosphere, but the moment the actors start working he creates an excitement and urgency akin to that low-budget thrill. You won’t find a more passionate guy: he lives and breathes the aesthetic of the movie he’s making.”
