Designers, Georgia Chapman and Keren Craig showcased their Marchesa Spring 2013 Collection during this year’s New York Fashion Week which is actually inspired by India in the 1960s.


These popular designers designed some stand out and dreamy pieces based on Indian theme. Marchesa Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear Collection was all about vibrant colors, embellishments and rich silks that reflects Bollywood charm in every aspect. Marchesa’s latest collection included red carpet-worthy pieces and some breath-taking daytime looks for a modern woman.

Marchesa Spring 2013 Collection featured glamorous fringed dresses, lacy gowns, embroidered frocks, sari-inspired gowns, frill layered gowns, shiny bejeweled tunic tops paired with cropped pants and much more. Designers used white, silver, pink, red, peacock-blue and metallic hues for creating uber-feminine and fashionable dresses and gowns.
Sari-draped dresses, midriff baring dresses, beaded dresses, strapless and one-shoulder gowns, jeweled cocktail numbers; collection was filled with array of stunning women ensembles.

With feminine details and luxurious fabrications, Marchesa Spring 2013 collection featured extremely interesting pieces. Models showed off their slim and fit bodies wearing gorgeous Marchesa pieces, perfectly adorned with Marchesa beaded bags.
Hot and sexy runway models finished their looks with luxury Christian Louboutin shoes. The elegant jewelry and sleek up ‘do was also sophisticated overall.

Flattering silhouettes, classic glamor and feminine details, collection was very much Bollywood inspired and highlighted Indian colors and fabrics. Making the show all the more fashionable were front row celebs that included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Osbourne, Olivia Palermo, Bar Refaeli, Stacy Keibler, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Sarah Hyland.
