Canadian-born British-Turkish fashion designer Erdem debuted his Spring 2013 Collection during London Fashion Week. There were a lot of beautiful shift dresses, jackets, cigarette pants and skirts perfect for today’s fashionistas.

There was no shortage of lace, sheer, ruffle, cut-out applique or dramatic details. Erdem Spring 2013 Collection was inspired from Zenna Henderson, one of the first female sci-fi writers.

The collection was full of playful floral prints, pastel colors and 1950s silhouettes. Designer used soft yellow, grey, lilac, pastel blue and some acid neon colors for designing pretty, feminine pieces.

Erdem Spring 2013 Collection featured python dresses, neon floral dresses, intricate lace tops, dresses with sheer overlays, floral applique dresses, high-neck tops with matching pants etc.

Erdem showed a number of gorgeous dresses which were pleasing and fun. Erdem Spring 2013 Collection had a definite feel for lady-like dresses combined with lace, floral applique and flirty sheer.

A python sheath dress with jacket, one-shoulder dress with tulle overlay, neon embroidered and cut-out dress, sheer top with a yellow pleated skirt that revealed panels of snakeskin were among some outstanding looks. These sweet ensembles were accessorized with matching T-strap platforms, gloves and cool shades.

Alexa Chung, Anna Wintour, Michelle Dockery and Caroline Sieber could be seen taking their seats in front row at Erdem Spring 2013 fashion show. In all, Erdem Spring/Summer 2013 collection included some sweet, “ultra-feminine” outfits that are a stand-out choice for any woman.
