Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther. He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

On diva rumors: “I am a very outspoken person, and if something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes be uncomfortable, but that’s as far as it goes. I can assure you that [diva rumors] aren’t real. It’s super-frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, You can think what you want to think about me – that’s OK. I have the most amazing fans, friends, and family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and crew really enjoy working with me. That’s all that matters.”

On her breasts: “These babies are great. They are my prizewinners. For a while they were out and about, showing off on Broadway every night, then they came to L.A. and were like, ‘No one else looks like me here!’ They were nervous to make their appearance but feel they’ve earned their place. So they asked if they could come out, and I was like, ‘All right, you guys.’ They definitely rose to the occasion, so I’m going to continue to give them more opportunities.”

On co-star Chris Colfer’s new book: “I’m reading Chris Colfer’s book right now [called The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell]. I literally praise the ground he walks on. I think he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread, so even if I didn’t like it, I would read it a hundred times. But I think it’s so smart, I can’t wait for all of the other ones to come out.”

On her personal style: “I’m very simple with clothes and I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup. I really feel like I’m the only girl who will do a photo shoot and want to take all the hair and makeup off. ‘Cause I like to let my skin breathe and you know, I’m pretty minimal in my wardrobe. I’ll do a little shop, stock up on some things, and that’s it. I mean, when I go to do events and stuff like that, I definitely feel I can bump it up. I have an amazing stylist, Estee Stanley, who is so wonderful. She always makes me feel so comfortable and beautiful in my own skin, and the dresses are just, like, extra points.”

On making people uncomfortable: When I was in Spring Awakening, every night I had to do this nude scene. I always loved to find the one person who I knew was going to be uncomfortable–who throughout the show was cringing in their seat–and when [co-star] Jonathan Groff would undo my top, I loved it!
