He sent models on runway in creations inspired by the sexual underground of wartime Berlin that painted the runway ‘RED’. Just like Charlie Le Mindu Spring 2011 Fashion Show, models were almost naked with nothing else than striking headpieces.

Models strutted their stuff in wig adorned gas masks, blood drenched lace and plastic garments with the words ‘pig’ ‘dirt’ and lots more. Charlie Le Mindu Autumn/Winter 2011 Fashion Show spell bound the onlookers owing to stuff like a gas mask with a ponytail, blood drenched lace, a spray-painted mohawk, plastic garments with the words ‘pig’ ‘dirt’.

Charlie Le Mindu Fall 2011 Show also flaunted clear capes that were trimmed with Mongolian wool, lace veils draped down to floor-sweeping skirts made from hair and capes were emblazoned with red graffiti saying ‘blood is the war’.

Pieces like long lace skirt, lace-covered military hats trimmed with pearls were interesting. Rounding up the eccentric show was a bride stepping on runway in a bias-cut lace wedding dress with a train drenched in fresh, wet blood. She was donning an eagle made from lace with outstretched wings perched on the head.

Making the show all the more violent, envelope-pushing and weird was soundtrack that played noises of a pig being taken to slaughter as Charlie Le Mindu took a bow wearing a butcher’s apron coated in blood.

Charlie Le Mindu Spring/Summer 2011 show opened with some models wearing skimpy clothes along with glamorous hats and exquisite wigs followed by models who went nearly naked. Only thing thing they wore were hats, shoes, bags, and wigs.

24-year-old French celebrity hairdresser, Charlie Le Mindu is known for shocking people with his collection, and Charlie Le Mindu London Fashion Week Show was no exception. This isn’t the first time when this eccentric designer has caused a buzz, his fall 2010 collection at London Fashion Week was also head turning. Charlie Le Mindu nude fashion show at London was without a doubt eye brow raising. Charlie Le Mindu Spring 2011 models donned hot pink platform boots by shoe designer Noritaka Tatehan who has also designed Lady Gaga heel less shoes which was the reason for lady Gaga falling on airport once.

Talking about some head pieces, bizarre leopard-print teddy bear headdress that covered model’s entire face and some flashy wigs, were also attention grabbing.

Charlie Le Mindu Hairstyles are known for its exquisiteness. Models were posing great looks in black lace bodysuits with cut-out panels. Charlie Le Mindu Fall 2010 show was first show of ‘off schedule show’ at London Fashion Week.

Highlights of show were extravagant sculptures featured on their heads and diamond encrusted crucifix, an open Faberge egg containing a tiny ballerina. A gigantic tiered wig in sombre black and gray color palette that completely covered the head and shoulders looked awesome. Fur-like effect was evoking from colored hair of one model, worn partially obscuring the face, balaclava style.

Unlike his previous collection, this time Le Mindu focused on shorter and more versatile pieces. Talking about makeup, it was very bold and stylish. Models were looking very different and stylish in electric blue lips, vivid green eyes, and the occasional blacked-out face.

Le Mindu’s AW10 show was more subtle, sophisticated than his last collection, featuring glamorous pieces. Elly Jackson, lead singer of La Rouxwas was spotted in front row. Once again, Hairstylist Charlie Le Mindu has proved his extraordinariness.
