Former Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is known for his feminine dresses embellished with ruffles and feathers, and this time too, he didn’t disappoint as there were frothy cocktail dresses and massive, tulle-laden gowns made for the red carpet.

Just like dresses, accessories were also chic. There were bags and shoes featured tortoise shell with pops of bright sandy yellow, salmon pink, and chartreuse that offered a preview of his forthcoming Payless collection.

Highlights of collection included silk maxi skirts paired with tee-shirts, and cropped silk pants with cape blouses in acid green and peach, a yellow cap sleeve dress with tulle and a criss-crossed dropped bodice.

With Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Elle’s Joe Zee in the front row, Christian Siriano Spring 2012 runway show turned to be a star packet show with very stylish and wearable collection on display.

It started as a dark collection but later turned into palette of rose pink and forest green. Styling the show was Danielle Nachmani who has earlier styled the Olsens and Piper Perabo.

Christian Siriano Autumn/Winter 2011-12 Show opened with slew of models stepping on runway wearing tailored jackets pieced in various textures of black over sheer skirts. They paved the way for ladylike suits and coats like snug turtlenecks were paired with some pretty fabulous trousers with over-sized cuffs.

Looks like a long tulip skirt with a lean black turtleneck, suit with a portrait collar and awkward ruffled skirt, massive petal-pink ball skirt paired with a simple gray silk tee looked chic. Christian upped the ante with some ruffles and tulle showed up inth ball gowns.

Christian Siriano fall 2011 gowns were dreamy and lady like. It included a moody-hued orchid-print organza cocktail dress with a pretty swirling drape that ended in a rosette on one shoulder, a flowing green printed strapless gown and a long-sleeved, embellished mini.

Show got a head start as models stepped on runway clad in a buttery caramel colored, long-sleeve safari jacket paired with a white slim-fit trouser made out of stretch cotton. Styles like sharply-tailored pieces, white kimono shirt dress paired with a leather double-buckle belt, shift dress made out of metallic tweed, leather and a croc-embossed trench coat in a gold stone color, one-sleeved cocktail dresses and gowns, “temple” prints, based on old Asian houses of worship, silk organza cocktail dresses and flounced camisoles were awesome.

Front row celebrities at Christian Siriano Spring 2011 Show included actors Alan Cumming, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Leigh Lezark, Maggie Grace, songstress JoJo and “30 Rock” star Katrina Bowden.

Project Runway winner Christian Siriano’s fifth collection was dramatic. Christian Siriano NYFW Spring 2011 show started with a model stepping on runway in caramel-colored safari jacket teamed with white trousers. It was followed by safari suit, cocktail dresses, gowns and lots more. Finale gown that was in bright-red color adorned with roses was magical.

10 remaining contestants of Project Runway Season 8 flaunted their creations in front of big names that included guest judge Jessica Simpson, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. Heidi Klum opened the show promising audience that they’d see color and fantasy on catwalk. Project Runway New York Fashion Week Spring 2011 runway witnessed many exquisite designs from 10 upcoming designers. 10 designers participated in fashion show to avoid disclosure of designers’ names who have made it to final three spots.

Richard Chai Love Spring 2011 Fashion Show

Richard Chai NYFW Spring 2011 show was based on nudes, grays, and blues color palette. Instead of multicolored prints and bright colors, Richard Chai women’s collection for Spring Summer 2011 was based on minimalism. It was a very wearable collection that included dresses in different fabrics. Sheer fabric, silky running shorts and trouser legs were prominent.

Vena Cava Spring 2011 Fashion Show

Designers Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock, took cue from ’80s Memphis design movement for Vena Cava NYFW Spring 2011 show. Color hues that were prominent on runway included black, red, aquamarine green, rust and bright yellow. Styles flaunted on runway included linen shorts suits, ankle-skimming shirtdresses and lots more.

Christian Siriano made this footwear collection with affordability in mind and said that he will turn those footwear which he had designed for runway, into pieces that everyone can buy. Shades introduced were navy blue and black with statement heels, booties and pumps in a mix of textures, were masterpieces, In addition to that there were a delicate balance between a simple shoe- means no crazy colors or prints, with feminine details.

Focal design of this designer footwear collection was the Rocaille style shoe with platform pump featuring a signature artisan heel reminiscent of a clawfoot. Truly impressed with brass and hardware accoutrements, which make them look luxe and expensive. Brass webbing hold together the shoe and heel, much like a filigree door corner. Ruffled slingback shoes with antique-detailed heel, were perfect accompaniment to flirty cocktail dresses and cropped pants.

As earlier Spring footwear collection, with curved heels, Siriano’s Fall 2010 footwear collection is more wearable.

Inspiration of Collection:
Christian Siriano Fall 2010 collection was inspired from 1960’s European women, who like to get dressed up everyday in perfect attire with matching fashion footwear and fashion jewelry.

First impression:
Christian Siriano opened show with a stylish black-leather peplum zip front jacket and slim wool pencil skirt, that set tone for whole show.

Look of Collection:
Christian Siriano Autumn/Winter 2010 collection consisted of 36 pieces with a classic yet rock n’ roll look. There was everything, from cashmere and wool coats, jersey fitted dresses, sharp coats, pants, pencil skirts, blazers and turtlenecks to nicely ruffled cocktail dresses and show stopping ball gown.

Highlights:
Highlight of show was a beautiful organza pink evening dress that deserves to be seen on red carpet and bought Christian a standing ovation.

Look of models:
Models were looking great in hairstyling that is easy to carry such as short hair styles that were slicked back.

Accessories:
Platform pump from Payless shoe collection new designer label, Christian Siriano for Payless and structured shape handbags that were a mix of silhouettes and patterned patent leather in structured shapes.

Vibe of Show:
Whole vibe of show was very soothing and glamorized. There were lot of celebs like Mena Suvari, Kat Deluna, real model Veronica Webb, Leigh Lezark, and Amber Rose.

Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 Collection, Plato’s Atlantis, was a Poseidon adventure at its magnificent scale during Paris Fashion Week. Reptile printed garments with space age silhouettes and kaleidoscope sequenced textiles in vibrant hues set the tone for this deep sea-inspired collection. But the most noticeable thing in his show was the 12-inch super high booties, that shocked everybody. Have a look at them below!

Christian Siriano revealed his spring 2010 shoe line for Payless at his Spring 2010 runway show in September at New York Fashion Week. These talon-heeled and bull horn inspired footwear, sent one model nearly toppling on his show. The shoes were simply plastered with blue-and-orange ocean-inspired fabric of the designer’s collection onto plain pumps. Booties, pumps, and Mary Janes came in varying shades of sand and blue and featured multiple straps, buckles, and sequins too. Overall the show was fantastic!!

It seems that towering heights are another main trend for coming Spring season. But, respect is due to the models who wore these miraculous high heels and walked. Hats off!!

The prolific line included fun, lady-like cocktail dresses evoking 80s trend in the softest possible way. Colors ranged from peaches, creams and champagne tones to blue lagoon watercolor splash to an orange-red that were virtually setting dresses ablaze. The blue becomes prominent at the ramp, along with a sea green. Many of the following outfits, such as casual wear, dresses, and bodysuit, make use of colors through a tie and dye effect.

Displaying his fierceness, Siriano makes use of fiery colors and volume to show off femininity and confidence in his gowns. Lifting the audience to rousing applause was the beautifully tiered chiffon strapless princess ballgown, which reminded us of Carrie Bradshaw’s Paris Oscar de la Renta confections.
